Most people are already receiving enough protein throughout the day from their regular diet, and many powders may even provide you with excess amounts that are often unnecessary.
It’s like taking cold medicine when you don’t even have a cold, why would you want to fill your body with something it doesn’t need?
And as I mentioned before, nutritional supplements are not regulated by the FDA. How do you know that the ingredients in your powder are safe?
Ultimately, I would recommend the protein powder if you are entering a bodybuilding competition, but if you are just looking to gain some weight, there are other alternatives.
