A Very Brief History
I have personally struggled with my own body image ever since I was in Elementary School. Kids constantly used to tease me and I was bullied all throughout High School for being small and not meeting the ideal body size. At the time, I was very insecure and felt uncomfortable talking to people about my body issues.
I constantly worried about being bullied, and at one point, I was scared to go outside and interact with other people because I was so afraid of what they might think.
There was no one that I could turn to for advice. Since people would pick on me a lot, it was very difficult to trust that they would want to help me build my self-esteem. Many people would just brush me off, or tell me that there was nothing wrong with the way I looked and that it was all in my head. They didn’t really know what was going on inside my mind, and it was very hard to explain. They seemed confident and didn’t appear to have a problem with their weight, so they would never understand my problem.
Now that I am a bit older and wiser than I was back then, I realize that many of the thoughts about my self-image were internal and a result of me not being happy with the way I looked. It didn’t occur to me that many bullies feel insecure and are not happy with their own lives (even if they don’t act that way when they’re around their friends). Now I wish to spread the message and support people who are going through the same things I went through when I was younger. I want to create a safe place for people to go and talk about their body issues with others who are going through the same thing.
Why Do We Want To Help?
Some people gain weight very easily, and others have a very hard time building body mass, that’s just the nature of our species. There is no super simple, one size fits all solution to gaining weight and we only attempt to give you tips and suggestions that have been shown to work for other people who have struggled with weight gain in the past. We wish we could offer you an instant solution to increasing your mass, but it is not that simple. Getting to that point requires hard work, dedication, and motivation. The name of the website is Gain Weight Quick, but chances are, it won’t happen as quickly as you might want it to. The good news is, it can happen much faster than you ever expected if you continue to work hard and put forth the effort.
We know what it’s like to feel alone, like you have no one there to support you. To sit in your room all alone and feel like you will never get better is one of the worst feelings imaginable, and no one should have to go through that. We want to help you get through those tough days and have someone to share the good days with as well. Our mission is to create a community for people who have tried everything imaginable to get bigger and felt like none of them have worked.
The main reason that this website was created is so that people who are feeling bad about themselves or having trouble achieving their ideal body, have a place for guidance and support. All the information on this page is designed to help people who might be struggling or looking for advice. Gain Weight Quick is a community of members who know what it feels like to suffer from low self-esteem and poor body image. We want to help you feel confident and achieve the body weight that you are looking for.
